SEASON STARTS WEEK OF APRIL 21 WEATHER PERMITTING!
Easton-Redding Baseball League’s Spring Registration is now open for all girls and boys starting in PreK (must turn 4 by 9/1/2024) through 7th grade. The season will run from the week of April 21 through June 7 (weather depending) and consist of games on Saturday mornings/afternoons as well as weeknight games/practices.

The Easton Redding Baseball League’s Spring 2025 Registration is now OPEN for all boys and girls ages 4-12 (Turning 4 by 9/1/2024). The season will begin with practices starting the week of April 21 and end on Saturday, June 7. There will be games on Saturdays as well as weekday games/practices. Weather related cancellations will occur and every effort will be made to make up these days, if possible.
TBall- $140. This division is for children in PreK and Kindergarten in Redding. Child turning 4 by 9/1/2025. Tball is played on a smaller field with smaller team sizes. Batters hit off a tee while learning the fundamentals of the game. Practices are Fridays 5-6pm and Games are Saturdays at 8-9am at Redding Community Center.
Rookies- $215. This division is for 1st and 2nd graders in Redding. Rookies play on the traditional 46/60 field and feature a combination of coach pitch and machine pitch. Outs are recorded and players will bat in a continuous lineup. Strong focus on fundamentals.
Practices are Fridays 5-6pm and Games are Saturdays at 8-9am at Redding Community Center.
Minors- $240. This division is combined with Easton under ERBL and is for 3rd and 4th graders. Minors play on the 46/60 field with 46/60 rules such as kid pitch and stealing bases. Practices take place during the week with games on weeknights and Saturdays rotating between Redding and Easton field locations. A player evaluation will take place in March.
Majors- $240. This division is combined with Easton under ERBL and is for 5th, 6th and 7th graders. Younger/ less experienced 5th graders may choose to play in the Minors division. The Majors play on the 50/70 field with 50/70 rules such a s leading and pickoffs. Majors will practice during the week with games on weekdays and Saturdays rotating between Redding and Easton field locations.
Prices increase after February 7.
**Any player wishing to move divisions will be evaluated by a member of the Baseball Committee. Individual coaches do not have the discretion to move players between divisions.**

Easton-Redding Baseball League (ERBL) Spring 2025 Falcons Travel Baseball Program
We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for our Spring 2025 Falcons Travel Baseball Program! This program is designed for dedicated, competitive, and advanced players looking to elevate their game. Please note that this program requires a higher level of skill, commitment, and baseball knowledge than our traditional in-town Spring season.
Age Groups – Players are placed by their age below (Determined by Cal Ripken Baseball with April 31, 2025 age cutoff):
- 7U: Born between May 1, 2017, and April 30, 2018
- 8U: Born between May 1, 2016, and April 30, 2017
- 9U: Born between May 1, 2015, and April 30, 2016
- 10U: Born between May 1, 2014, and April 30, 2015
- 11U: Born between May 1, 2013, and April 30, 2014
- 12U: Born between May 1, 2012, and April 30, 2013
Team Details:
7U Developmental Machine Pitch Team:
- 7U players seeking to begin a competitive level of baseball
- Workouts: Begin indoors in March
- Winter Sessions: Weekly starting in March at a local gym or baseball facility
- Spring Practices: Once or twice a week
- Tournaments: Memorial Day Tournament (TBD), Bethwood Machine Pitch Tournament (mid-June to mid-July), and Labor Day (TBD) with 2-4 days a week of games and practices during the tournament
8U – 12U Teams:
- Workouts: Begin in January (possibly December if space allows)
- Winter Sessions: Weekly at a local gym or baseball facility
- Spring Practices: Twice a week (one weekend, one weekday)
- League Play: Compete in the Greater Hudson Valley Baseball League (GHVBL) with games in Fairfield, New Haven, and Westchester counties
- Games: 8-12 games starting in April, with 2-4 days a week for games and practices
- Tournament: Memorial Day Tournament included
- Season End: Concludes after Memorial Day tournaments

Registration Fees:
- 11U and above: $945**
- 8U, 9U and 10U: $845
- 7U/8U Developmental Team: $545
**Potential for out of pocket for additional tournament plus associated fees**
Registration Process:
- Register – 2025 ERBL Spring Travel Registration Link – A $100 fee will be collected at registration and will be fully refunded or credited, depending on whether the player makes the roster. While the system will display this $100 payment as “Payment in Full,” it is only an initial deposit.
- Players placed on a Spring 2025 travel team will receive a registration link for roster placement
- Payment plan available: Half due upon roster placement, balance due by Sunday, December 1st.
- Deadline: Sunday, October 13th
Evaluations:
- Notification by Monday, October 14th if evaluations are needed. Evaluations (if necessary) will be held on Sunday, October 20th at fields in Easton/Redding with a potential makeup date the following Sunday, October 27th.
- Roster size – 12 (8U-12U). Potential cuts will be made if registrations exceed this number. This is not a first-come, first-served program.
Coaches:
- Mandatory travel coach meeting in October
- Advanced level coach training courses will be required
Additional Information:
- Players must participate in the ERBL in-town Spring recreational baseball program.
- Playing on the 2025 ERBL Spring Travel team is independent of the 2025 ERBL Summer team and does not guarantee a spot on that team.
- Teams will be coached by ERBL volunteers.
- The program includes a full uniform set, player SWAG and gear, and clinic opportunities during the season.
