RES After School Program

RES Afterschool Program – Tuesdays & Thursdays at BGCRE

Starting January 6 with new programming!


Join us every Tuesday and Thursdays after school for the RES Afterschool Program at the Boys & Girls Club of Redding-Easton! Students enjoy a safe, fun, and engaging environment with opportunities for homework help, creative activities, active play, and social time with friends. Our caring staff create a supportive space where kids can learn, grow, and have fun after the school day ends. Transportation from RES is included, and pick-up is at BGCRE.

Spelling Bee is Back!

Starting, February 5, students in grades 1-4 will meet weekly with their High School Mentors on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm at the Boys & Girls Clubhouse.

Students play word games, study spelling words and become friends with their High School Mentors in a fun and casual setting!

Plus, we provide pizza every week! 

*Students who participate in our Thursday RES Club, can stay at the Club between 5-5:30

This culminates with the Spelling Bee where students can shine with their new knowledge- Saturday, March 28 from 1:30-3!!

3/20 After School Fun!

With early release on March 20, 2026 the Boys & Girls Club is committed to ensuring that children and families have after school care options! 

Joining us will be our Joel Barlow Juniors and Seniors as our Youth Development Counselors.

Students will take bus 30 from school and arrive at the BGCRE (170 Cross Hwy)

Counselors will check children in and out.

Snack is provided, however we ask that your child brings water.

We will utilize our outdoor fields and courts, as well as our indoor space weather depending. 

 12:00-3:00 PM

$50 Registration Fee

$50 BGCRE Membership Required 

*Membership fee’s include all insurance, and required upon all BGCRE programs & sports*
