A Message from Boys & Girls Club of Redding-Easton
Dear Boys & Girls Club Members,
With heavy hearts, the Boys & Girls Club community mourns the loss of Luke Sorce. Luke was more than a member of our Club—he was a bright presence, a teammate, and a young person who left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
A dedicated baseball player, Luke brought the same determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship to the field that he showed in all parts of his life. He was known for his kindness, his easy smile, and his ability to make others feel welcome. Luke embodied the spirit of what it means to be a Club kid—supportive, resilient, and connected to his community.
Luke’s impact reached far beyond the baseball field. He was an important part of our community, and his absence will be deeply felt by staff, friends, teammates, and peers who shared laughter and memories with him. His legacy lives on in those moments and in the values he demonstrated every day.
We extend our deepest condolences to Luke’s family, friends, and loved ones. The Boys & Girls Club of Redding-Easton will forever honor Luke’s memory and the joy, strength, and heart he brought to our community.
