What is Spelling Bee?

Starting, January 29, students in grades 1-4 will meet weekly with their High School Mentors on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm at the Boys & Girls Clubhouse.

Students play word games, study spelling words and become friends with their High School Mentors in a fun and casual setting!

Plus, we provide pizza every week!

*Students who participate in our Thursday RES Club, can stay at the Club between 5-5:30

This culminates with the Spelling Bee where students can shine with their new knowledge- Saturday, March 28 from 1:30-3!!

Keystone Club

Founded in 1962, Keystone Club is the BGCA’s premier teen leadership program. Promoting character and leadership among Club teens, the program provides impact in three focus areas: academic success, career preparation and community service.

High school students in Redding and Easton, aged 14-18 are encouraged to join by registering through the BGCRE website.

The registration fee for the Keystone Club is $25. Participants must also be registered members of the Boys & Girls Club of Redding-Easton which costs of $50.00 for the Club year 2025.
