When/Where can I drop off my items?

Donation drop offs accepted at BGCRE from July 29-Aug 22 in the Pavilion

Can I arrange for pick up?

Yes! Please email programs@bgcre.org to arrange for a pick up the week of Aug 12.

Can I get a donation receipt?

Yes!  Please email programs@bgcre.org to receive a donation receipt.

What can I donate?

Suggested items to donate are listed below, but it is not exhaustive. If donating helmets, please ensure that they are not expired.

• • Soccer equipment: soccer cleats, balls, jerseys, shin guards
  • Hockey equipment: helmets, gloves, pads, sticks, pucks, helmets
  • Ice skates/ roller skates/ roller blades, helmets
  • Bikes, trikes, scooters, helmets
  • Skateboards, long boards, helmets, wrist guards, knee guards
  • Football equipment: pads, helmets, flags, balls, cleats, jerseys
  • Lacrosse equipment: pads, helmets, goggles, sticks, balls, cleats, jerseys, skirts
  • Baseball/softball equipment: bats, gloves, cleats, pants, helmets, bags, balls, tees
  • Volleyball equipment: balls, knee pads
  • Swimming equipment: goggles, kickboards, waterwings, floats, hand paddles, lifejackets/PFDs. No bathing suits, please.
  • Skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, poles, helmets, clothing
  • Goals: soccer, lacrosse, hockey
  • Sports gear bags, duffel bags, backpacks
  • Tennis racquets, tennis balls, tennis bags, tennis clothes

When is the swap?

The actual event is Aug 24 from 9-1 pm and Aug 25 from 12-3pm in the BGCRE Pavilion

Are the items at the Swap free? 

Pay what you wish! We are asking for donations to support Scholarships, new safety equipment and more for our Softball Program.

Do I have to bring an item to be able to shop?

No, everyone is welcome to join us on Aug 24 and 25!  Open to the public!

What happens with the leftover items?

Any items left over after the sale will be donated to local charities at the discretion of the BGCRE.
